About Us

About GST Appellate Tribunal Bar Association

The GST Appellate Tribunal Bar Association is a non-profit professional organization established with the objective of promoting excellence in the practice of Goods and Services Tax (GST) law and facilitating the effective administration of justice before the GST Appellate Tribunal. The Association works for the welfare and professional development of advocates, tax practitioners, chartered accountants, and other stakeholders engaged in GST litigation. It aims to organize legal awareness programs, seminars, workshops, and educational initiatives to enhance knowledge and understanding of indirect tax laws. The Association is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and is also registered under Sections 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, enabling it to operate as a charitable institution and allowing donors to avail tax benefits on eligible contributions. Through its activities, the Association seeks to uphold professional ethics, promote legal research, and contribute to the development of a fair and efficient tax dispute resolution system in India.

Membership is open to Advocates, Chartered Accountants and Authorised Representatives — whether you already practise before GSTAT, Ghaziabad Bench, or are looking to start. The Bench covers 14 districts of Uttar Pradesh: Ghaziabad, Hapur, Meerut, Baghpat, Bulandshahr, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Moradabad, Amroha, Sambhal, Rampur, Bijnor.
